DJ AND PRODUCER Diplo was left grief stricken after the death of one of his pet chickens.

Because he has a spacious garden and all of the comforts a bird could ever need, Diplo keeps a number of chickens on his property.

He was disappointed to find out that one of his chickens died yesterday and believes another animal was responsible for the murder. He wrote on Twitter that he’s “out for blood” after his loss.

His chickens are featured prominently on his Instagram account. Diplo often brought them to meet other stars, like Dua Lipa.

It’s unknown whether the bird photographed here is Michelle.

He took to Instagram to pay one final tribute to Michelle, writing:

I’ll miss you Michelle. You brought me a lot of joy but you’re probably better off in God’s coup up in the sky with endless feed. Rest In Peace.

At least she got to spend her life with a millionaire. Most chickens don’t have it that easy.
